In 1999 the doors of Velocity Audio Visual Services were opened as a provider of presentational AV equipment and rentals for the meeting and events industry. After 12 years of growth and thousands of successfully executed programs around the country, it was rebranded as Velocity Audio Visual Inc. In 2011 to better serve clients and the innovation culture of the time. At this time, Velocity invested in LED Display Technology and became San Diego’s premier LED Display provider featuring San Diego’s most complete inventory of LED Display.

Our People

Combined, our senior staff has over seventy years of hands-on professional experience in the audio visual entertainment field. Our technical staff is highly-trained, versatile and dedicated to delivering exceptional custom service. In 2012 Velocity expanded its capabilities menu to include an Event & Presentation Producer. This new service provides our clients with a dedicated event professional capable of providing: Creative Concepts and Theme Development, Program Design & Integration, Content Development, Computer Aided Design (CAD) Room & Stage Layouts, PowerPoint and Keynote Builds, Speaker Coordination and Presentational Coaching.

Why choose Velocity Audio Visual, Inc. over an In-House AV provider:

• #1 – ROI

  This is the most important factor in choosing an AV provider, as the correlation between what you invest vs. what you receive can play a key role in the success of your program and the delivering of your message. While our quotes may seem very similar, keep in mind that every In-House provider must pay the venue a percentage of your overall program. This percentage is typically 50% or higher. When you invest in your program, do you want only 50 cents of every dollar to actually go towards your event success?

  In order to overcome the above ROI issue, most In-house providers will use tactics like donating your Internet fees, which they have inflated the cost of. They will require you to pay for using the existing power in meeting rooms if you use an outside provider, the venue may even say you “have to” use their preferred Provider.
